Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Ranjith Samuel (trading as Editnova) ("Editnova", "we") for your use of editnova.studio and the Editnova app. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• You must give accurate details, including your country, and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
• You must be 18 or older, or use Editnova with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Plans, credits and payments

• Editnova has a Free plan and paid monthly plans (Creator and Studio). Prices are shown in your local currency when you sign up; Indian prices are plus GST.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Razorpay and are non-refundable, except for charges made in error (see our cancellation and refund policy).
• Each plan includes a number of AI credits per calendar month. Unused credits do not carry over and have no cash value.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.

Your content

• You own the videos, images, audio and text you upload and create with Editnova, including AI results you generate, as far as the law allows.
• You give us permission to process your content only to provide the features you use.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, footage and the likeness of people who appear in it.

Acceptable use

You must not use Editnova to create or share content that:

• is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, or encourages violence;
• impersonates a real person or misleads people with fake video or voice of them without their consent;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
• is spam, malware or fraud.

You must not try to break, overload, copy or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI features

AI results (pictures, captions, voice-over, scripts, edits) can contain mistakes or be unsuitable. Please review them before publishing. Where a law or platform requires you to label AI-generated content, you are responsible for doing so.

Availability

We work hard to keep Editnova running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of important files; projects are saved on your device.

Cancellation and termination

You can cancel any time; see our cancellation and refund policy. You can delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Editnova is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu (covering Puliangudi) have jurisdiction.
